Established on April 17, 2020, the Divine Mercy Foundation is a leading non-profit organization committed to alleviating poverty and fostering social inclusion through targeted, impactful initiatives.

The foundation envisions a world where hope, tolerance, and social justice thrive, eradicating poverty so everyone can live with dignity and security.
Dr. V. Sandhya Rani, the founder, is an adept Project Manager Trainee with a well-rounded skill set in various training programs. She is recognized for strengthening NGOs by evaluating program impacts and driving continuous improvements based on feedback and data.
She has been honored as the Best Committed Woman Social Worker and was awarded the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Service Award on May 23, 2016, in New Delhi by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) for her outstanding services to destitute women, children, and community development.
A published author, Dr. Rani wrote the book Problems and Determinants of Stress among the Destitute Women in Andhra Pradesh, which explores issues related to SWADHAR and Ujjawala Homes in the state.
Her previous roles have honed her problem-solving skills, teamwork capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
Legal and Tax Compliance:
The Divine Mercy Foundation has secured all necessary legal approvals from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Central Government of India. Donations made to the foundation qualify for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
